No Child Should Miss Out

Tomorrow is the ninth annual Hudson Children's Book Fair. It takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hudson Jr./Sr. High School, 215 Harry Howard Avenue. This year, the Hudson Children's Book Festival Literacy Fund is giving every single student in the Hudson City School District--all 1,850 of them--a "Good For" to purchase the book of their choice from the author of their choice at the festival.

This is a terrific opportunity for kids to experience and enjoy the festival. So if you have kids or know kids in the Hudson City School District, do what you can to get them to the festival tomorrow. Free transportation is provided from many points throughout the city. Check out the route and the program schedule, and get the kids you know to the Hudson Children's Book Festival.

  1. This is not just a book festival for local kids; it's one of the best children's book festival in the nation. You can't find a better gathering of great children's book authors. Talk to them, find out about their craft, get them to autograph their book -- for your kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews. It's the best.
