Primary Prep: Johnson and Chameides

This afternoon, two days before the primary, two candidates with the endorsement of the Hudson City Democratic Committee are holding a meet and greet at September Gallery, 449 Warren Street, at 4 p.m.

Johnson, who is the only candidate for First Ward alderman endorsed by the HCDC, is up against Rob Bujan and incumbent Michael O'Hara to be one of the two Democratic candidates for First Ward alderman in November. Chameides, who chairs the HCDC, has the committee's endorsement for Third Ward supervisor. He is up against John Friedman, currently an alderman for the Third Ward, to be the Democratic candidate for Third Ward supervisor. Incumbent Third Ward supervisor, Don Moore is not seeking reelection because, as a consequence of the Fair & Equal redistricting, he no longer resides in the Third Ward.
